Solomon von Gluck is a 'gorgeous-to-be' 6 year old German Shepherd. We've had several estimates on his age, anywhere from 2 years to 8 years, but we think he's closer to 6. He came to us neglected and starved, with a skin allergy and also required eyelid surgery to correct his inverted eyelids that have been irritating his eyes for who knows how long. After 2 weeks of treatment he's like a different dog. Although he has a long way to go and lots of weight to gain, his personality is coming out and he's such a funny, goofy, friendly guy. He's good with other dogs and didn't seem interested in the cats either. He walks good on the leash and likes to stop during his walks to turn to you and playingly nudge you or bite at his leash. He's loving and is already attached to his favorite volunteers. With a little imagination, you can see the hunk he will become after a few weeks in his foster home.
